Our story

Since 2010, an idea outside the box

Since 2010 Alusonic has been developing, designing and building innovative musical instruments. Over the years we have made hundreds of basses and guitars for private clients and for some of the most famous artists in the world: our mission is to build an instrument that meets a musician's every tonal need, with the taste, beauty and passion of Italian culture.

In pursuing instruments of the very highest craftsmanship, we have designed our own proprietary components — pickups, preamp, bridge — working with the world's finest custom parts makers to develop original components never before seen on a musical instrument.

Materials & process

From raw material to finished instrument

Material selection
High-density aerospace aluminium, or selected alder, swamp ash, ash or sassafras for the wooden models.

CNC milling
The aluminium block is carved in a single piece; wooden bodies are chambered and, on Hybrid models, paired with an aluminium or carbon top.

Hand finishing
Brushing, anodising, carbon or paint, finished by hand one instrument at a time.
04
Assembly & testing
Electronics and hardware fitted and tested individually before delivery.
